Meenu Walters is Managing Director of NDS Texas, the Texas program of the Neighborhood Defender Service, which runs the public defender office serving Hays County from San Marcos. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999.
Before NDS she served with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid as Chief Public Defender for Atascosa, Wilson, Karnes and Frio counties, building rural public defense south of San Antonio.
