Listserv Guidelines
The SACDLA Listserv carries professional conversation among members. It supplements legal research rather than replacing it, and each member verifies what a colleague offers there. Personal conversations, profanity, advertisements and personal attacks stay off the list. Also remember that SACDLA is a nonprofit organization chartered by the State of Texas, and as such we are prohibited from “participat[ing] in, or interven[ing] in (to include the publishing or distribution of statements) any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for political office.” Violation of these guidelines may be cause for removal from access to the listserv.
Advertising for events outside SACDLA stays off the list. For access to the listserv, contact Forrest Good at [email protected].
